First and foremost, thank you to all of the bands that entered the competition! It truly was a musically diverse and talented selection of bands. Thank you for sharing you talents with us.

The grand prize winning band (that recieved the most votes) was Parkwright. In addition to their performance this year, they’ve also won a video package from Class-E Media and a booking at Musikfest 2010!

Thanks to all of you who have been patient with us as we have been validating the ballots. Going over the thousands of indiviudal votes, one-by-one, has been a bit of a time consuming process, but it was important to ensure that every legit vote was counted.

We’ve been bombarded with messages from anxious voters, curious to see the results of the last tier of voting. We want to keep you all in the loop, so you should know it’s looking like the official announcement as to what bands will play at Musikfest will most likely happen early next week.
The shear amount of votes for the final round exceeded expectations, but with that great news comes the task of verifying each ballot. We want to make sure we get it right, so we’re taking our time and double checking our work.
